Artist's Comments

I created this installation for the Earth Garden Festival

you can see the other image of the installation --> [link]

The title is derived from the saying "green fingers" which indicates that 'one has a special ability to make plants grow'.

Therefore within this context "plastic fingers" refers to an ideal state in which man (represented by the plastic cutlery) works together with nature (represented by the soil) towards a harmonious outcome
